Just noticed that when Imgburn is minimised to the system tray, it displays a balloon tip from the tray instead of the operation successful dialog - have to see if this works.ĮDIT: Ok, it seems I lied, that dratted dialog poped up again, I just didn't see it. It would also be nice if there was an option to not show the dialog at all - all these sucess messages can get annoying X.25 FCS (frame error detection sequence) uses CRC-CCITT, WinRAR, NERO, ARJ. Is there an option to stop this behaviour that I've missed? It would be ok if the dialog still appeared, just not becoming the currently focused item. This becomes a nusiance when running full screen-apps (games/movies) and then imgburn suddenly pops up the success message, taking the app currenlty running out of full-screen mode. Whenever I have imgburn writing a disc, and I am running something else, the 'Operation Successfully Completed' message pops up ontop of what ever I'm running (speak of the devil - it just poped up then!). I just don't have the disc space at the moment to be keep the files on HDD all the time - I'm working with up to 20GB of video footage a day - and that's just raw - never mind editing/trimming & converting!Īnyway, that's just my opinion. It just seems daft to a) keep all the files on HDD until the disc is full or keep copying the files from the disc to the HDD each week, adding that weeks file to the set and burning it all back to disc (also meaning I would have to be using DVD-RW).

I am currently considering using multisession recording for Xvid files I am creating from TV recordings, and want to add each weeks recording to the disc until the disc is full, and then close it. On the topic of multisession discs, there are very useful when making incremental backups, so you don't need to waste discs unnecessarily.

You are not even considering the fact that not all computers can boot from USB drives, and therefore multisession boot CDs like Puppy Linux are still very essential. Not to start a slanging match, but that statement is inherently wrong. Your argument for pupply linux falls down cos you can run it from flash memory
